About Me

I was born in Eustis and grew up in Tavares. Like me, my two children also graduated from Tavares High School. Before being elected to the Lake County School Board I worked 22 years for Lake County Schools.

I am classroom focused and believe in recruiting and retaining high quality teachers, supporting our hard-working school employees and teacher training and professional development. I also believe that we need to improve parent involvement in schools, continue placement of . . .

Experience

I have served our community on several levels, as a former school employee, coach, community leader and presently, the incumbant for Lake County Schools, District 4. But none of these are as rewarding as being a parent.
